Pinchy has arrived!!

Pinchy arrived a day early!

Before I start going through her I thought I would post some pics for first impressions sake;

Usually I love the snow. But now it is holding up the delivery of my tii!!

I am glad I didn't go to get it and drive it back myself.

I'd be in a ditch on the Jersey Turnpike or watching the car fall apart from the salt like it was being attacked by those things from that dumb ass GI Joe movie.

What luck!(?)

I just got a call from the garage, concerning my 1995 BMW 525i. The compression is gone and the engine needs to be replaced!

I would say; good thing I've got the tii coming, but I have yet to see for myself exactly how reliable it is...

Already the story develops

I did a VIN search on the tii, after I had bought it (I'd recommend doing this before), and found that she was purchased by the seller a month ago from some car auction in Boston; for about $1500 less.

Granted, I never would have found the car at the auction, but I wish I had.

So God only knows who had this car before and why they got rid of it. I'm hoping that they just didn't want to deal with all that rust.

What are we thinking?!

A 73 BMW 2002 tii came up on ebay for short money.

My wife said; get it. So I did (we always do what our wife says, right?)

The car was up in Boston, so my friend Rick went up to take a look at her.

RUST!!

The money was right, the car was running and complete, so I bit the bullet and sent the money.

Now we wait...
